As long as the equipment is returned in new, re-saleable condition, within 30 days of the Return Authorization we will refund your original purchase cost without any re-stock fee!
**For the health and welfare of others, we regret that we cannot allow toileting or bathing/shower product returns because of sanitary and personal hygiene reasons. Some manufacturers will not permit returns on certain products. Due to the custom, hand-made nature of Beds by George products, beds and accessories are not returnable. Please check with Customer Service if you have any questions.
There are certain things you must do in the event of a return.
1) Keep your original carton and packing materials for safe transport! Please carefully repack the items in their original packaging so they are secure and tight inside the box. Utilize any plastic bags that came with your order - they protect items from vibration during shipping.
2) Contact us within 30 days of the receipt of the products. Email us or call us for return instructions and a Return Authorization number.
You must have a Return Authorization number to ensure that your return is processed.
Some important notes about returns:
You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. To protect yourself, use a delivery service that has a tracking # and insurance. A refund will not be given on merchandise that is lost by the carrier.
If you paid a shipping fee on your original order for expedited, international or other shipping it is Non-Refundable even upon return of your order.
Please note that returns may go back to a different location than they originated from. If you return an item to our warehouse in New York without a Return Authorization Number the cost we incur to ship the item to the manufacturer's warehouse on your behalf will be deducted from the amount of your credit, if any.
If the item cannot be made re-sellable you have the option of:
1. Paying to have the item delivered back to you. 2. Adjustment to credit for a 25% Disposal Fee.

The NEW Rifton Tricycle design has made a great adaptive tricycle even better. At Rifton, they continually seek to make their designs more accessible and functional. Again, they have achieved success with their newly designed tricycle. Rifton brought 40 years of experience together with the input of cyclists, therapists and families who use their product. They also used cutting-edge materials and technology. All to create the ultimate ride. It is sleek, rugged, adaptable and a whole lot of fun.
All Tricycles have these great features:
Tool-free adjustments
Adjustable backrest angle- position the backrest vertically or at a 7.5 or 15 degree recline
Adjustable seat depth- adjusts easily with a knob underneath the seat
Carbon fiber drive belt- will not rust or stretch, and will last at least five times longer than a typical bicycle chain
Variable pedal resistance- adjustable parking brake can provide drag to slow speed or lock the wheels for safe transfers
In Required Step 1, you will choose the size and color of your tricycle. Please refer to the Size Chart tab for help with measurements and sizing. The critical measurement for fitting the tricycle is the inseam/inner leg measurement. The user’s extended leg should reach comfortably from seat to pedal when both feet and torso are strapped into place. Rifton Tricycles accommodate user inseam measurements from 12-38 in. (30.5-96.5cm) using 3 different frame sizes. It’s also important to note that the user’s weight must not exceed the maximum working load for the frame size you have chosen. Adaptive Tricycles are not intended for users with strong reflexes or poorly developed trunk balance and poor head control.
In Required Step 1 you will also select:
Seat Size- seats are made of soft foam for comfort and include a seat belt. Small: 8 in. wide x 8 in. long (20.3x20.3cm) Medium: 13 in. wide x 10 in. long (33 x 25.4 cm) Large: 17 in. wide x 12 in. long (43 x 30 cm)
Handlebar Style- choose either a stylish Conventional Handlebar or a Loop Handlebar for more adjustability. Both handlebar styles flip up to help with transfers. Also decide if you would like to add a Front Handbrake. The front handbrake gives riders control over their speed. It can be positioned for left or right-hand use, and locked for parking.
In Required Step 2, you will choose Back Support:
The Trunk Support System Option- stabilizes a rider with low trunk control and comes with a butterfly harness for anterior support. Laterals and a headrest can be added as well. Small: 14 in. wide x 10.5 in. high (35.5 x 26.6 cm) Large: 16 in. wide x 16 in. high (40.5 x 40.5 cm)
The Backrest Pad Option- is great for clients who need less support. Small: 10 in. wide x 5 in. high (25.4 x 12.7 cm) Large: 11 in. wide x 6 in. high (28 x 15.25 cm)
Please Note - Laterals and/or a headrest CANNOT be added when the Backrest Pad is chosen.
If you select the Trunk Support System Option, you can also add a headrest of your choice and/or Lateral Trunk Supports.
Headrest- choose between Winged, Contoured-Adjustable, Flat, or Contoured-Fixed headrests. Please refer to Photo Gallery under Main Product Image for pictures. Headrests attach to the Trunk Support System Option. Headrest attachment is tool-free, with horizonal* and vertical adjustments for optimal positioning. Flat and Contoured: 9 in. x 5 in. (23 x 12.7 cm). Winged: 16 in. x 5 in. (40.6 x 12.7 cm) when flat to 6 in. (15 cm) between wings set at 90 degrees. *Contoured-Fixed Headrest adjusts vertically ONLY.
Laterals- lateral trunk supports slide in tracks on the back of the Trunk Support System Option. They have independent vertical, width and angle adjustment, and can swing out of the way for transfers. Small: 4 in. x 5 in. (10.1 x 12.7 cm) Large: 5 in. x 6 in. (12.5 x 15.25 cm)
In Required Step 3 you can choose to add a Rear Handle. There are 2 styles of Rear Handle for caregiver assistance. The basic style is the Push Handle that attaches in the back behind the seat. It allows the caregiver to assist the rider with forward motion and control the tricycle’s speed. It can be purchased with or without a caregiver brake. The other option is Rear Steer. It looks similar to the Push Handle but it is connected to the main handlebar allowing the caregiver to assist with steering. It lets a caregiver aid in steering the tricycle from behind the rider giving the rider a feeling of independence. Rear Steer can also be ordered with or without the caregiver brake.
Rifton believes everyone deserves the chance to ride. Biking is more than recreational. It’s therapeutic. The health benefits that come with cycling are plentiful– improved leg strength, posture, balance and range of motion; reciprocal leg motion patterning; using visual and spatial perception for steering- especially for children with physical challenges. Riding also helps with socialization- engagement with friends and family. Adaptive tricycles can even help non-ambulatory people experience the joy and freedom of independent movement.
