As long as the equipment is returned in new, re-saleable condition, within 30 days of the Return Authorization we will refund your original purchase cost without any re-stock fee!
**For the health and welfare of others, we regret that we cannot allow toileting or bathing/shower product returns because of sanitary and personal hygiene reasons. Some manufacturers will not permit returns on certain products. Due to the custom, hand-made nature of Beds by George products, beds and accessories are not returnable. Please check with Customer Service if you have any questions.
There are certain things you must do in the event of a return.
1) Keep your original carton and packing materials for safe transport! Please carefully repack the items in their original packaging so they are secure and tight inside the box. Utilize any plastic bags that came with your order - they protect items from vibration during shipping.
2) Contact us within 30 days of the receipt of the products. Email us or call us for return instructions and a Return Authorization number.
You must have a Return Authorization number to ensure that your return is processed.
Some important notes about returns:
You will be responsible for the return shipping cost. To protect yourself, use a delivery service that has a tracking # and insurance. A refund will not be given on merchandise that is lost by the carrier.
If you paid a shipping fee on your original order for expedited, international or other shipping it is Non-Refundable even upon return of your order.
Please note that returns may go back to a different location than they originated from. If you return an item to our warehouse in New York without a Return Authorization Number the cost we incur to ship the item to the manufacturer's warehouse on your behalf will be deducted from the amount of your credit, if any.
If the item cannot be made re-sellable you have the option of:
1. Paying to have the item delivered back to you. 2. Adjustment to credit for a 25% Disposal Fee.
If you have any questions, please feel free to either email us at info@adaptivemall.com or call us at 1-800-371-2778 or 1-315-429-7112 to reach Customer Service. We are here to help!
The Meywalk 2000 is a robust, dynamic, indoor/outdoor gait trainer. It promotes a typical gait pattern using spring suspension that facilitates natural vertical movement with each step. It is available in 3 sizes accommodating individuals with inseam measurements from 19 – 37 in. (48.3 -94 cm) and who weigh up to 220 lbs. (100 kg). Please refer to Size Chart Tab for sizing help. Children with mild to moderate levels of physical involvement and as young as approximately 5 years old through adults will benefit greatly from participating in a supervised gait-training program with the Meywalk 2000. The Meywalk Miniwalk is available for younger children.
The Meywalk moves up and down with each step using a Dual Spring Assist System. The spring compresses on the weight bearing side facilitating heel strike to foot flat to toe off. The spring expands on the non-weight bearing side offering a lift assist for the swing through phase of the gait pattern.
Caregivers and therapists alike will appreciate the Meywalk’s simple design. Adjustments are tool-free and easy to perform. Adjustable trunk and seat supports can be quickly and effortlessly changed for multiple users in therapy clinics and schools. The Meywalk’s Lever Lift System ensures safe and easy transfers. No more lifting the user to stand. The Lever Lift Bar allows caregivers to lower the seat unit to let the user in and out of the system at a seated wheel chair height. This feature minimizes strain on caregivers.
During the ordering process optional Front Caster Swivel Locks can be purchased. These Directional Locks prevent the casters from swiveling so the gait trainer moves forward in a straight line. This feature is great for beginners and users who have difficulty steering due to motor control issues. Lock is easily engaged/disengaged.
An upright position is beneficial for developing and improving joint integrity, strength, endurance, and overall organ system function. Being upright also contributes to a person’s overall sense of well-being. Gait-training can help people with special needs gain greater independence in mobility skills. This can allow them to more easily interact with their environment and other people.
