The Triaid Quick Release Pedals allow the pedals to be quickly detached making it easier to get onto and off the tricycle especially if assistance with transfers is required. They are particularly useful in conjunction with a Swivel Seat Option (sold separately) to make transfers easier and safer. Quick Release Pedals have an added benefit of removal for transportation and storage of the tricycle. The Quick Release Pedal can also be fitted with a Foot Sandal (sold separately). The Quick Release Pedal and Foot Sandal are removed as a unit. They can also be removed when tricycle is being moved without the rider, so the pedals and Foot Sandals are not spinning as the wheels go around.
