Lateral Supports are necessary for users who require additional upper body support to maintain proper alignment of the spine. Lateral Supports have independent vertical, lateral (side to side) and angle adjustment. Small laterals can be purchased for all Rifton Activity Chair Frame Sizes (Small, Medium and Large). Small Laterals are 5 x 4 in. (12.7x10.2cm). Large Laterals can be purchased for Medium and Large Frame Sizes and are 6.5 x 5 in. (16.5x12.7cm).

Laterals with Chest Strap can also be purchased to offer anterior support (support in front of the user) to gain additional trunk support and security for users who tend to lean too far forward away from the back of their chair.
