The optional Padded Forearm Positioner has been designed to work with the optional Forearm Support with Handgrip. The Forearm Supports (set) are optional forearm troughs that allow the user to weight bear through their forearms versus their hands as they take steps. This is especially important for children who have difficulty maintaining their grip on the standard handles of the walking aid.

The Forearm Positioner stabilizes the forearm position in the trough thereby facilitating the user’s ability to grip the handle. This set up can be especially helpful for children who lack adequate upper body strength and endurance to stand upright independently. These children may demonstrate improved performance when support is at elbow level versus hip level.
